#1. I became a metaphysical minister at the age of 19. I was ordained by Rev. Donna Davis in Los Angeles in 1949. I have a small healing center in Lomita. We have Catholic, Jewish & Methodist ministers etc.
# 2. I was guided by spiritual beings from a very early age. I recall when I was 3 to 5 years old I used to sleep walk down a dark and shadowy dirt road with my hand out as if someone was holding it. I would hold a conversation with this invisible being of light. My mother or Uncle would follow me to make sure nothing would happen to me. Finally, a teacher asked my mother "where did your daughter learn all those big words. " He said, "I dontt understand but she is using them correctly." From that day on I seemed to be guided by an invisible force. I had a dream I would save the pearl of great price and I believe the dream meant that destiny is not carved in stone and negative karma is not negative once you understand it. You can not change the past but you can change the effect it has upon you.
# 3. before our first child, William, was born I had a dream if he was born on May 24 he would be born with death. On May 24 , 1949 I suddenly awakened about 2 in the morning and I suddenly said to my husband Bill , "your dad just died." Later that morning he received the news of his father passing. One month later, on June 24, my son William was born.
# 4. When my next son, Russell, was born I knew he, like all my children, would be a challenge because I dreamt that I should encourage their differences. Russ was creative and ran a soda bar and sold Pizzas from a back room in our house. He allowed credit but somehow seemed to make a profit and eventually made enough to buy a pool table. His brother Ron eventually took over his business when Russ went to college.
# 5. My daughter Sandy formed a Dixie Land Band and the children often practiced in our home and performed for those who gathered at the bar & grill.
# 6. I recall one day Russ came home from College and I dreamt he and a friend wanted to ride the rails and experience what it would be like to ride in a box car. I confronted them and the friend burst out, " You told her" . They did not go on that trip.
#7. My daughter Sandy entered college at Pepperdine in Malibu calif. I had a dream Sandy would come home and I would find her sitting on the hall floor. I said, " Sandy whats wrong ?", She said." Mom, I just do not feel well." A few minutes later I saw her in the dream sitting on the bathroom floor. I said,"Sandy, what is wrong ?', . Sandy again replied ," Mom, I just do not feel well." Later in the evening she seemed fine and went on to bed as if nothing was wrong. Then in my dream she died. I forced myself to dream this dream over again because I loved my daughter dearly and could not bear to face the fact she might pass on. Several months later Sandy came home and this scene unfolded. I had sort of forgotten the dream. Later she went on to bed, all of a sudden the dream hit me and I went into her bedroom and took her fever it was 105 . I called my husband and we started carrying her toward the front door. We got to the front door and Sandy stopped breathing. We are only about 1 mile from South bay Hospital in Torrance and we rushed her there. Dr. William Tanner took care of her and I feel her life was spared because of the dream.
# 8. My Son, William, bought a house in Denver and asked my husband & I if it would be O.K. if he sold it. We thought about it and had a foreboding feeling if he kept it so we said "yes." A short while after it was sold a tornado like wind hit it but no one was hurt.
# 9. The many things that have happened to my husband & Iover the years have convinced us that there are definitely guardian angels and that there is a divine being that watches over all of us, I call this wonderful Being of Light, A GOD OF MANY NAMES.
#10. I have called on this God many times throughout my life. the most recent is when I tried to get my husband Bill to go to a doctor. I felt I could lose him if he did not seek medical attention. He finally went and they found he had a tumor as large as a nerf football wrapped around the aorta in the abdominal area. I was told they could not remove it or he would probably bleed to death on the operating table.. His cancer quickly spread and he had turned yellow. Dr. Greenberg and a group of specialists worked diligently to save Bills life. I also used meditation, visualization and had people come to our house to pray for him 16 years have come and gone and Bill is still here.
#11. You might say we do listen when we receive messages in our dreams or when certain feelings are strong. Even if the message may appear silly we do listen. I remember trying to sell a house in Denver, when it seemed every house on the block was for sale to help us pay medical bills. I was told to paint our kitchen orange and it would sell .My husband worked nights so while he was at work I painted the kitchen orange. Needless to say he was shocked. The house sold the next day and the woman who bought it said, "the first thing I am going to do is paint that awful kitchen."
I truly believe symbols and dreams are the universal language of the soul. Every decision we make somewhere deep inside we already know the outcome, we just do not know how to access the information. I usually make a decision and try to follow it into the future and see how I feel about the outcome. there are times we find answers and other times we do not.
